Lady Freyja(or Freya, Freja, Frejya) Norse goddess of fertility, love, beauty and attraction. Daughter of Lord Njord(God of the Sea and waves) and twin sister of Lord Freyr(God of Prosperityand fertility). Lady Freyja is also associated with war, battle, death, wealth, magic and prophecies. She is said to be the most beloved, honored and renowed goddesses and she is one of the most popular deities of Norse Religion. Lady Freyja married the God Odr, she deeply loves her husband but often went away on long journeys and Lady Freyja cried red golden tears for him. Her tears become gold and amber when they fall to Earth, therefore gold was called "Freyja's tears". They have two beautiful daughters called Lady Hnoss and Lady Gersemi. Her chariot is pulled by big blue cats or on a golden battle boar, she is also called "The Fair One". In the Religion, there were three giants who want to marry Lady Freyja, but they were all killed by Lord Thor, the God of Thunder. She is the owner of a precious necklace called Brisingmen (Jewelry of Fire). The day of the week Friday, is named either after her or Lady Frigg.
